Adding a Countdown Timer to Your Landing Page

Use a countdown timer to create urgency and encourage visitors to take action on your landing page.

To add a timer, you will need to embed custom HTML using a third-party countdown generator. Follow these steps to add your countdown timer in Knak:

Step 1: Generate Your Countdown Timer Code

Use a free online tool such as Sendtric to create your countdown timer.

  1. Go to https://www.sendtric.com/.

  2. Customize the timer appearance, expiration date, and time zone.

  3. Click Generate to create the HTML embed code.

  4. Copy the code provided.

Step 2: Add the Countdown Timer to Your Landing Page

  1. In Knak, open the landing page you want to edit.

  2. Drag and drop an HTML Block into your layout.

  3. Paste the HTML code you copied from Sendtric into the block.

  4. Save and preview the page to confirm the timer displays correctly.

Tips for Using Countdown Timers

  • Place the timer near your call-to-action for higher visibility.

  • Double-check the time zone and expiration settings.

  • Test your page before sending it live to ensure the timer works.
