How to set up the HubSpot integration

Knak has a direct integration with HubSpot so you can easily sync emails and landing pages with the click of a button.

If your organization uses Business Units, you'll need to locate the Business Unit ID to create your integration. If your organization has multiple Business Units, you'll need to create separate HubSpot integrations for each one.

Otherwise, skip ahead to "How to connect the integration in Knak".

How to find your Business Unit ID in HubSpot

  1. Go to Settings

  2. On the left-hand side, under Account Management, you will see Business Units

  3. On the Business Units page, there will be a dropdown that lists all of your organization's Business Units

  4. When you select one, the page URL will update to include the Business Unit ID

    1. This will be appended to the end of the URL in the format "BusinessUnitID=12345"

  5. Copy this ID as you'll need it during the next step

Note: Your main Business Unit will almost always have the ID of "0"

How to connect the integration in Knak

  1. Open your Knak account and head to the Admin section

  2. Go to Integrations > Platforms

  3. Locate the HubSpot integration tile and click Connect

  4. Give your integration a name, paste your Business Unit ID (if necessary, otherwise leave this field blank), and click Authorize

    1. The following authorization page will open

  5. Finally, click Create New Integration

  6. Repeat these steps for any additional Business Units


Managing your integration

Now that your integration is set up, you can view its configuration, edit it, or delete it from the "My Platform Connection" list on the Integrations page.

If you need to connect a new integration – or re-add a previously deleted one – you can do so by scrolling down to the "All Platforms" section and clicking Connect or Add Another Connection on the relevant platform tile.
