Overview
You can move a section from one email to another by using the Clone Section button. Click and hold the cloned section. Drag it directly into another email.
Before You Start
Open both emails in the Knak editor
Place them side by side on your screen
Copy and Paste a Section
Step 1: Find the Section
Open the source email
Click into the section you want to copy
Hover over the section to reveal options
Step 2: Click and Hold Clone Section
Click Clone Section
Do not release your mouse
Hold the click on the cloned section
Step 3: Drag to the New Email
While holding the click, drag the section
Move it into the destination email
Position it where you want it placed
Step 4: Drop the Section
Release your mouse to drop the section
Confirm placement in the new email
Important Notes
This action copies the section. It does not move the original
This method applies to sections, not modules
Use the module library for reusable module content
Tips
Keep both emails visible for easier dragging
Drop the section slowly to ensure correct placement
Save frequently to avoid losing changes
