Before You Begin
Before connecting SendGrid to Knak, you must create a SendGrid API (Application Programming Interface) key with the correct permissions.
Create a SendGrid API Key
Step 1: Open API Key Settings
Step 2: Create a New API Key
Step 3: Configure Permissions
Under Access Details, set the following permissions:
Design Library: Full Access
Template Engine: Full Access
Note: If you do not see either the ‘Design Library’ or ‘Template Engine’ as options, or are unable to set ‘Full Access’ for either one, ensure that your account has the necessary permissions to access them For more information visit SendGrid’s official documentation on API Keys and Admin Permissions.
Step 4: Copy the API Key
Connect SendGrid to Knak
Step 1: Open Integrations
Log in to your Knak account.
Navigate to Admin.
Click Integrations.
Select Platforms.
Step 2: Create the Connection
Locate the SendGrid integration tile.
Click Connect.
Enter a name for the integration.
Paste the API key you copied from SendGrid.
Click Create New Integration.
Manage Your SendGrid Integration
Once your integration is connected, you can manage it from the My Platform Connections section on the Integrations page.
Available actions include:
View configuration details
Edit the integration
Delete the integration
Add Another SendGrid Connection
To create an additional SendGrid connection:
Scroll to the All Platforms section.
Locate the SendGrid integration tile.
Click Add Another Connection.
To reconnect a deleted integration:
Scroll to All Platforms.
Locate SendGrid.
Click Connect.
