Knak has a direct integration with SendGrid so you can easily sync emails with a click of a button.
How to create an API Key on SendGrid
1. Open your SendGrid account and on the left hand sidebar navigate to Settings > API Keys
2. Select 'Create an API Key' and set the permissions to 'Restricted Access'
3. Under ‘Access Details’, set ‘Template Engine’ and ‘Design Library’ access to ‘Full Access’
Note: If you do not see either the ‘Template Engine’ or ‘Design Library’ as options, or are unable to set ‘Full Access’ for either one, ensure that your account has the necessary permissions to access them For more information visit SendGrid’s official documentation on API Keys and Admin Permissions
4. Click on ‘Create and View’ and copy the API key shown on the screen
How to set up the integration
1. Open your Knak account and head to the Admin section.
2. Go to Integrations > Platforms.
3. Find the ‘SendGrid’ integration tile in the list of integration and click ‘Connect’
4. Set the name of your integration and paste the API key copied from SendGrid, then press ‘Create New Integration’
That's it! You can now sync emails to SendGrid.
