Before You Begin
Before you connect SparkPost to Knak, create an API (Application Programming Interface) key in your SparkPost account with the required permissions.
Create a SparkPost API Key
Configure the API Key
Complete the following fields when creating your API key:
Name
Enter a descriptive name for the API key.
Subaccount
Leave this field blank unless you want to sync with a specific subaccount.
Allowed IPs
Leave this field blank.
Assign API Permissions
Under API Permissions, click Select. Add the following permissions:
Templates: Read/Write
Account: Read
Subaccounts: Read
Copy the API Key
After you create the API key:
Copy the new API key.
Store it in a secure location.
Connect SparkPost in Knak
Log in to your Knak account.
Navigate to Admin.
Select Integrations > Platforms.
Under All Platforms, locate SparkPost.
Click Connect.
Enter a name for the integration.
Paste your SparkPost API key.
Select your SparkPost environment.
Select US unless your SparkPost account is hosted in Europe.
Click Create New Integration.
Manage Your Integration
After setup, view your integration in the My Platform Connection list on the Integrations page.
From here, you can:
View the configuration
Edit the integration
Delete the integration
To connect a new integration or re-add a deleted one:
Scroll to All Platforms.
Find the SparkPost tile.
Click Connect or Add Another Connection.
Important
Before you sync an email to SparkPost:
Your email must include a subject line.
Your From Email address must match the default sender address configured in SparkPost.
