Open your SparkPost account and navigate to Configuration > API Keys and select Create API Key

On the following screen give your API key a name.

Sub account can be left blank unless you only want to sync to a specific sub account.

Under API Permissions choose 'Select' and add the following permissions:

  • Templates: Read/Write

  • Account: Read

  • Subaccounts: Read

Allowed IPs can be left blank.

On the following screen make a copy of your new API key

Open up your Knak account and navigate to Integrations.

Select 'Add Integration' and pick SparkPost

On the popup give your integration a name.

Paste in your API Key

Select your SpartPost Environment, this will be US unless you're located in Europe.

That's it! You can now push Knak emails to SparkPost with the click of a button.


  • An email needs to have a subject line to be synced to SparkPost

  • The 'from email' needs to be the same as your regular from email in SparkPost
