Adobe Campaign Classic (v7) Integration

Set up an integration between Knak and Adobe Campaign Classic (v7) to sync email content directly into Adobe Campaign deliveries.

Before You Begin

Before you create the integration in Knak, create a dedicated Application Programming Interface (API) user in Adobe Campaign Classic. You will use this account to authenticate the integration.

Create an API User in Adobe Campaign Classic

Create a new API user in Adobe Campaign Classic.

Use the username and password from this account when you connect Adobe Campaign Classic to Knak.

šŸ’” Tip: Use an email alias when setting up integrations (for example, youremail+api@domain.com).

This keeps all integrations tied to one dedicated account. It also prevents disruptions if a team member leaves.

Configure Access Conditions

Replace the default three access conditions with a single access condition.

Configure folder access as shown below.

Assign Named Rights

Grant the API user the following named right:

  • PREPARE DELIVERIES

Named Rights configuration.

Configure Folder Permissions

Grant the API user Read and Write access to the folder or folders that contain the deliveries or delivery templates you want Knak to sync.

To update folder permissions:

  1. Right-click the folder.

  2. Select Properties.

  3. Open the Security tab.

  4. Add the API user.

  5. Grant Read and Write permissions.
