Enable Dynamic Content
Turn on dynamic content in your Adobe Campaign integration.
Steps
Go to Admin > Integrations > Platforms > Adobe Campaign
Click the pencil icon
Go to Dynamic Content Settings
Select Enable Dynamic Content
Set Up Merge Tags for Dynamic Content
Create merge tags to define the data used for segmentation.
Steps
Go to Admin > Integrations > Merge Tags
Click Add Merge Tag
Enter a merge tag for each attribute
Example
Segment by country using:
β<%= recipient.country %>
Repeat for each attribute you want to use
Use Dynamic Content in an Email
Create and use segments to control which content displays for each audience.
Add Dynamic Content
Select a content block
Click Add Dynamic Content
Click the cog icon under Dynamic Content Variants
(Optional) Toggle Hide default variant
Define Segment Rules
Enter a segment name
Choose Match any or Match all conditions
Add conditions using merge tags
Click Save
Add Content for Each Segment
Select a segment (e.g., Default or Country = Canada)
Enter content for that segment
Review Segment Details (Recommended)
Hover over a segment to view details:
Marketing Automation Platform (MAP)
Segment type (Global or Local)
Segment conditions
Use this to confirm the correct segment before applying it.
Preview Dynamic Segments
Use preview mode to see how the email looks for each segment.
Toggle between segments like Default and Country = Canada.
Default:
Country is Canada:
Manage User Permissions for Dynamic Content
Go to Admin > Roles.
Choose a role to modify.
Scroll to the Dynamic Content section.
Enable permissions as needed:
Manage dynamic content variants
Manage global segments
Manage local segments
π Tip:
Global segments can be reused across multiple emails.
Local segments are one-time use only.
