After syncing your email to Pardot, you can make some edits to your custom dark mode image configuration using the visual editor:
You can change the light mode image source
You can change the light mode image alt text
You can edit a pre-existing link that was added in Knak
Unfortunately there are some things that cannot be edited in Pardot because it always hides the dark mode image from the Content Editor pane.
You cannot add a link in Pardot if you didn’t already add a link in Knak. If you add a brand new link, Pardot will only add it to the light mode image.
You cannot change the dark mode image source
You cannot change the dark mode image alt text
Note: You can edit both images, links and alt text if you are comfortable doing so by editing the source HTML. You can do this by clicking the image in the editor, clicking it again in the Content Editor and then clicking the Source icon in the toolbar, as indicated below. This will allow you to edit the HTML source of both the light mode and dark mode images.
