How to use the Knak / Workfront integration

When it comes to getting an email or landing page out the door, collaboration and feedback are some of the most time-consuming parts of the process. Knak has simplified the process with a Workfront integration.

Connecting a task in Workfront to a Knak asset

In order to connect your Knak asset with your Workfront task, you will first need to copy the task URL from Workfront. Please note: If you attempt to add a project URL instead of a task URL you will see an error.

Next, head over to the Info tab of your asset in Knak. On the right-hand side, you'll see a section called Project Management. Once you've connected your Workfront integration, you'll see it there. You can now paste in the task URL you copied from Workfront.

Once you've made this connection, you should see the asset status and URL populate in the Task Details section of the Workfront task under Knak Integration Fields.

In addition to the status and URL, comments made in Knak will also be posted on the Workfront task under the Updates section.

Custom fields can be created in Workfront and sent over to Knak. These values will appear on the Info tab of your linked asset in Knak. Custom fields require setup assistance from the Knak team. Please reach out to your CSM for more details.

You are also able to sync both the desktop and mobile proofs of your asset over to your Workfront task to view under the Documents section.

Finally, the status of your proofing approval workflow will also sync over to Knak and be visible on the Info tab under Reviews.
