This guide outlines how to build your content library in Knak. It includes best practices for creating reusable modules and finalizing templates as themes. This approach helps maintain consistency and improves team efficiency.

Step 1: Build a Complete Asset with All Module Components

  • Design your desired modules as one complete asset first.

  • Ensure visual consistency in spacing, padding, and layout.

  • Preview in both desktop and mobile views to confirm responsiveness.

Step 2: Save Content as Individual Modules

  • Break down the asset into individual reusable modules.

  • Use a clear and consistent naming convention.

  • Apply categories to enhance searchability.

Step 3: Apply Build Restrictions (Optional)

  • Set restrictions from the admin panel in Knak.

  • Restrictions help guide the builder experience for end users.

Step 4: Build and Save as a Theme

  • Assemble saved modules into a complete email.

  • Save the final email as a theme for reuse by clicking the Actions Menu and selecting Save as Theme.
