Phase 3 - Build out a content library
Now that you have the basics in place its time to start building out some content. Knak recommends taking a modular approach, it gives you maximum design flexibility while still allowing you to remain brand compliant at all times.
Once built, modules can be easily dragged into any email whenever you need them. Below are the recommended steps to build out a module library
Define module categories - Set up the categories you will classify each module under. Header, Body & Footer are the recommended minimum categories. More details
Build your modules - Build out your most commonly used content as modules to be easily inserted into your emails.
Themes - in addition to modules, Knak allows you to build and save complete email designs called themes. If you build themes, we still recommend building modules first and creating your themes from modules. How to build a custom theme.
Phase 4 - Set up module and theme editing restrictions
Knak gives you a lot of power to set granular editing restrictions. That can help with adherence to brand guidelines and ensure emails are created only in predefined ways.

Phase 5 - Collaborate & review groups
Your account is up and running, you have a content library and team members are starting to build emails.
To ensure email creation is happening in the right way, consider implementing an approval process or using collaborative features.
Using collaborate your team members can leave granular feedback on emails. More details on collaborate here.
Using review groups you can create defined groups with multiple review stages to ensure no email gets synced or downloaded without proper authorization.
You can set up predefined approval groups or create a dynamic approval workflow on the fly.
