Knak has a direct integration with Iterable so you can easily sync emails with the click of a button.

How to create an API Key in Iterable

  1. At the top of the screen, you’ll see the navigation bar. Hover over Integrations, then click API Keys

  2. Once on the API keys page, click New API key to create a new key

  3. Give your new API key a name (eg. Knak Integration), and select Server-side for the type

  4. Click Create API key. The popup will then show you the API key value. Save this securely as you will not be able to view it again. This is the key you will need to use in your Knak integration.

How to connect the integration in Knak

  1. Open your Knak account and head to the Admin section

  2. Go to Integrations > Platforms

  3. Locate the Iterable integration tile and click Connect

  4. Set the name of your integration and paste the API key copied from Iterable, then press Create New Integration

Managing your integration

Now that your integration is set up, you can view its configuration, edit it, or delete it from the "My Platform Connection" list on the Integrations page.

If you need to connect a new integration – or re-add a previously deleted one – you can do so by scrolling down to the "All Platforms" section and clicking Connect or Add Another Connection on the relevant platform tile.

Syncing to Iterable

In order to sync to Iterable, you'll need to ensure your sender details in Knak align with your preset Sender list in Iterable.

To view and update your Sender list in Iterable, click the gear icon in the top-right corner of your Iterable platform, then select Senders.

To view and update your sender presets in Knak, go to Admin -> Brands -> edit brand. Once editing, you can scroll down to Email settings to view, edit, or create new presets.
