Bring a Knak email into Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) without using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration.
If you do not use the Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration, you can export your email from Knak and manually upload it into Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Tip: For a faster workflow, use the Knak Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration to sync emails directly into Salesforce Marketing Cloud. See Salesforce Marketing Cloud Integration for more information.
Export Your Email from Knak
Download the HTML File
Open your email in Knak.
Click Actions in the top-right corner.
Select Download.
Click Download HTML for SFMC.
Copy the Email HTML Code
Locate the downloaded
.htmlfile on your computer.Open the file in your web browser.
Right-click anywhere on the page.
Select View Page Source.
Select all of the code.
Copy the code.
Import the HTML into Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Step 1: Open Content Builder
Step 2: Create a New Email
Open the folder where you want to store the email.
Click Create in the top-right corner.
Select Email Message.
Step 3: Choose HTML Email
Step 4: Define Email Properties
Enter any required email details, including:
Email name
Description
Folder location
Campaign
Business unit sharing settings
Target language
Click Next when finished.
Step 5: Paste the HTML Code
Locate the Add Content screen.
Click the area labeled Click here to paste code directly.
Paste the HTML code you copied from the page source.
Step 6: Add Email Details
Enter your email subject line.
Enter your preheader text.
Click Next.
Step 7: Preview and Test
Before sending your email:
Open the preview screen.
Review the email content.
Send test emails.
Confirm the email renders correctly across devices and email clients.
