Overview

The Module Asset Table helps you see where a module is used in your workspace. It’s a fast way to identify all emails, landing pages, and themes containing a specific module. This improves quality control and ensures up-to-date content across assets.

Key Benefits

  • View all related assets in one place

  • Filter by asset type, brand, status, and more

  • Update modules directly from the table

How to Access the Module Asset Table

  1. Go to the Modules section in Knak

  2. Select the module you want to review

  3. Click the gear icon → View Assets Using This Module

Gear icon dropdown with 'View Assets Using This Module' option selected in Knak module settings.

  4. Or, from the module editor, open the Action MenuView Assets Using the Module

Action menu open in the module editor showing 'View Assets Using the Module' option.

You’ll now see a list of assets and themes that use the selected module.

Filtering the Table

Use filters at the top of the table to narrow results:

  • Asset type – Email, Landing Page, or Theme

  • Brand – Filter by brand

  • Sync status – Synced or unsynced

  • Asset status – Draft, Awaiting Approval, Changes Required, or Published

  • Module status – Up-to-date or Out-of-date

Module Asset Table filters showing all emails with the module added.

Why Filter by Module Status?

Filtering by module status lets you spot outdated modules. You can update them directly from the table to ensure consistency across all assets.

How to Update Modules From the Table

If assets contain outdated modules:

Asset row in Module Asset Table with red 'Out-of-Date Module' warning icon highlighted.
  1. Select the asset from the table

  2. Click the Out-of-Date Module icon to initiate updating the module:

  3. Then confirm and update

Confirmation dialog in Knak asking to apply the latest version of the module.

You don’t need to open each asset individually—saving time and reducing errors.

Use Cases for Module Admins

The Module Asset Table is ideal for:

  • Quality assurance – Ensure all assets use approved modules

  • Brand consistency – Filter assets by brand

  • Workflow efficiency – Update modules without leaving the table
