Overview
The Knak Studio is your central hub for viewing, searching, tagging, and downloading email assets. You can easily locate existing campaigns, organize content with tags, and take quick actions like downloading HTML or syncing assets.
Accessing Knak Studio
Click Studio in the top left menu of your Knak dashboard.
You will see a list of email campaign assets, including: Asset name, Creator, Creation date, and Asset ID.
Searching for Specific Emails
Use the search bar on the left side to find emails by: Name, Creator, Brand, and Tags.
You can also apply filters: Asset Type (email or landing page), Asset Status (draft, awaiting approval, changes required, approved, completed), Creator, and Brand.
Using Email Tags
Tags help categorize and organize emails for easy searching.
How to Add Tags
From the email center, click the three-dot menu next to any email and select Add tags.
From inside your email, go to the info page. Add tags under the General Information section. Separate multiple tags with commas.
Once added, tags are searchable in the Studio search bar.
Working with Emails
Click the three-dot menu to the right of an email to open actions like: Send test email, Sync, Download HTML, and Preview
*The options you see here will depend on the level of access/role permissions you have in Knak.
Downloading HTML
You can download HTML from either the Studio or the Builder.
From Knak Studio
Go to the Studio main page.
Use the search bar to find your asset.
Click the three dots (•••) beside the asset.
Select Download.
Choose Download HTML or a version specific to your Marketing Automation Platform (MAP).
From Knak Builder
While editing an asset, click Publish.
In the dropdown, select Download.
Choose Download HTML or the MAP-specific version.
