When one builder is editing an email, the email becomes locked. This prevents other builders from making changes at the same time. The lock helps protect your work and avoids unwanted updates.
How Email Locking Works
An email locks when a builder opens it in the Create editor.
Other builders cannot edit the email while it is locked.
A message appears to show that another builder is currently editing.
When the Editor Unlocks
The email unlocks automatically in the following cases:
The Builder Leaves the Page
Close the browser tab.
Navigate to a different page.
Refresh the browser.
The lock is removed right away.
No Activity for 60 Seconds
The builder does not interact with the Create editor for more than 60 seconds.
The system detects inactivity.
The email unlocks automatically.
This allows another builder to access and edit the email.
