Email Testing allows you to see what your email will look like when your customer opens your email on their device.
With Knak's Email Testing feature you can see how your email looks on different devices, operating systems, browsers, email platforms and light and dark mode.
To test how your email will look on different devices, open the email you want to test, choose the drop down menu to the right of the email name and choose Preview.
Then you will choose the icon with multiple devices, 3rd from the left on the navigation bar.
From there, you can see all of the testing options that will be available to you with Email Testing including Gmail, Outlook, Chrome, Firefox, IOS/Android, Mac/PC, Light/Dark Mode.
Click the 'Generate Previews' button.
You'll see thumbnails of all the testing. Click the one you'd like to view.
From this page, you can also 'Refresh Previews' and filter the view by Device and Light/Dark Mode.
Once you click into the thumbnail of a test, you'll see how it will look on that device.

Make note of any changes you may need to make in your email so that it looks as expected across devices.
To choose another email test, choose another thumbnail from the right side menu. Alternately, toggle back to a full screen view of the thumbnails by clicking the blue "<" arrow 3/4 of the way across the top of the screen, just under the navigation bar.
When you're done reviewing your email tests and ready to go back to the builder, click 'Exit Preview' in the upper right hand side of the navigation bar.
