At Knak, we continuously update our email testing platforms to match the latest technological advancements and retire outdated clients that are no longer supported by their creators. This ensures you always have access to the most relevant and effective email clients.

Here are the recent updates to our email testing packages:

  • In the Advanced Package, we've replaced "Outlook Office 365 - macOS 10.15 (Dark Mode)" with the updated "Outlook Microsoft 365 - macOS 13 (Dark Mode)."

  • In the Custom Package, a number of email clients have been retired and we have replaced them with newer versions as listed here. Additionally, we’ve expanded our offerings to include 21 new clients, detailed in the chart below.”

Quick summary of updates:

  • The Outlook App for Android has been added (with both light and dark mode) and the Outlook App for iOS now has both light and dark mode previews

    • These additions mean you can now test—in light and dark mode—across the complete Outlook suite: Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac, Outlook.com, Microsoft365 (previously Office365), Outlook for iOS and Outlook for Android

  • There is now expanded coverage of the Gmail App on Android all the way from Android 8 up to Android 13

  • New iPhone 15 models have been added running iOS17

  • The latest versions of Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac and Apple Mail have been added

  • Office 365 has become Microsoft 365 so these previews have now been added

Information on clients that have been replaced and their corresponding predecessor:

Windows

  • Outlook 2010, Windows 10 has been retired, and in its place you will now see previews for the next available version of Outlook for Windows that is not already enabled in your package.

  • Outlook 2013, Windows 10 has been retired, and in its place you will now see previews for the next available version of Outlook for Windows that is not already enabled in your package.

Webmail

  • Office 365 has become Microsoft 365, so the following have had a refresh to bring them up to date with the latest version of this email client**:**

  • **Outlook.com on Windows 10** and Outlook.com on Windows 10 (Dark Mode) have had a refresh to bring them up to date with the latest version of this email client, so you will now see the latest versions for Chrome, Edge and Firefox.

Mac

  • Outlook Office 365, macOS 10.15 and Outlook Office 365, macOS 10.15 (Dark Mode) have been retired, and in their places you will now now see previews for the next available versions of Outlook for Mac that are not already enabled in your package.

  • Apple Mail 13, macOS 10.15 and Apple Mail 13, macOS 10.15 (Dark Mode) have been retired, and in their places you will now see previews for the next available version of Apple Mail that is not already enabled in your package.

Android

  • Gmail App Pixel 6, Android 13 and Gmail App Pixel 6, Android 13 (Dark Mode) have had a device upgrade, and in their places you will now see previews for Gmail App Pixel 7, Android 13 and Gmail App Pixel 7, Android 13 (Dark Mode)

iOS

  • iPhone 7 Outlook, iOS 11 was retired, and in its place you will see previews for the newly added Outlook App iPhone 13, iOS 15.
