Best Practice: Avoid Formatting Issues When Copying and Pasting Content
Copying content from tools like Google Docs, Word, or Figma can bring hidden formatting that causes rendering issues in Knak. To avoid this, use one of the methods below to paste plain text only.
Use these options when copying from documents or reusing content that has unexpected spacing, fonts, or formatting.
Option 1: Use Cut Instead of Copy
Cutting text removes hidden formatting before pasting.
Highlight the text
Cut (
Ctrl + X/Cmd + X)Paste into Knak (
Ctrl + V/Cmd + V)
Option 2: Paste Without Formatting
Paste copied text as plain text using:
Windows:
Ctrl + Shift + VMac:
Cmd + Shift + V
(Availability may vary by app.)
Option 3: Use a Notepad App
If formatting issues persist:
Copy the text from the original source
Paste it into a plain text editor (Notepad, TextEdit, Notes)
Copy again and paste into Knak
This strips out all hidden styles.
