The Knak Studio is where you can see all emails in your account. Just click on 'Studio' in the top left menu to access your studio homepage.
You will see a list of recent campaign assets including asset name, creator, creation date and asset ID.
How to search for a specific email
Use the search bar on the left side of your studio screen to search for any email detail such as the name, creator or brand etc.
While on the search page, you can select search filters such as Asset Type (email or landing page); Asset Status (draft, awaiting approval, changes required, approved, and completed); Asset Creator, and Brand:
Email Tags
Each email can be assigned one or multiple tags. Tags can be used to group and categorize emails so they can be easily found in the future.
Tags can be added from the email center by clicking the three dot menu next to any email and selecting "Add tags."
Tag can also be added from within the email builder by going to the info page. You can add as many tags as you like under the general information section, just make sure to separate each tag with a comma.
Once added you can search for tags via the search bar in the Studio.
Working with emails
Once you have found the email you need, click the three dot menu to the right of the email. This will reveal a drop down menu with options such as sending a test email, syncing, downloading html, preview and more.
The options you see here will depend on the level of access you have in Knak.
How to Download an Asset's HTML
There are two primary ways to download the HTML of an asset in Knak:
Download from Knak Studio
Navigate to the Studio main page.
Use the search bar on the left-hand side to locate your asset.
Once you’ve found the asset, click the three dots (•••) on the right side of the asset name.
Select the Download option from the dropdown menu
Choose Download HTML to retrieve the asset’s HTML, or select the version specific to your Marketing Automation Platform (MAP).
Download from Knak Builder
While working on an asset in the Builder, click the Publish button.
In the dropdown menu that appears, locate and select the Download option.
Choose Download HTML, or select the HTML file tailored to your MAP.
This allows you to export your asset’s HTML at any stage—whether you're managing assets from Studio or actively building them in Builder.
