Accessing the Email Builder
Log in to Knak
Go to https://login.knak.io/ and enter your credentials.
Note: when creating your Knak password, you will need to follow these requirements:
At least 10 characters
At least one uppercase letter (A–Z)
At least one lowercase letter (a–z)
At least one number
At least one non-alphanumeric character (e.g., !, @, #)
Must not reuse any previous password
If your team uses Single Sign-On (SSO), log in through your company's SSO provider instead. Learn how to set up SSO in this self serve guide.
If your Administrator has enabled Login with Google, you'll be able to log in using your Google account.
Choose your brand
After logging in, you’ll land on the Studio page.
Select the brand you want to build in.
Open a campaign folder
Navigate to the correct campaign folder.
Click Create to start a new email or landing page, or choose to create one from an existing theme.
Themes are prebuilt email or landing page templates. You can use Knak’s standard themes or create your own custom ones. Learn more about themes.
Navigating the Builder
Once you're inside the Builder, here's what you'll see and how to use it.
Email or Landing Page Name
Located in the top-left corner.
Click to rename your asset.
Save status is automatically tracked.
Actions Menu Options (Top Right)

Builder Tabs
1. Info
Add tags to help sort and search assets.
View the Audit Trail and Version History to track changes.
2. Create
Email Details: Set sender name, email, subject line, and preview text.
Settings: Adjust global styles like email width and background color.
Content: Drag and drop blocks (text, images, buttons, etc.).
Structure: Add rows and column layouts.
Modules: Insert prebuilt content blocks. You can also break modules apart if needed (permissions required).
3. Optimize
View real-time optimization tips.
Focus on high- and medium-impact suggestions.
4. Collaborate
Leave comments directly on the email.
Use pins to mark feedback (blue for standard sections, purple for dynamic content).
5. Reviews
View and manage review stages.
Add multiple reviewers.
Click Send for Review to initiate feedback.

FAQs
Can you extend the time before users are automatically signed out?
Yes. Your admin can adjust the idle timeout for user sessions. This setting is scoped to your company. It applies to your entire Knak instance.
To update this setting, your admin must:
Go to Settings.
Open the Login section.
Update the Idle Timeout value.
Default value: 30 minutes
Minimum value: 30 minutes
Maximum value: 20,160 minutes (14 days)
