Before You Begin
If you have configured the Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) integration, you can sync landing pages directly from Knak to Pardot. For setup instructions, see How to Set Up the Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) Integration and Sync.
Use the steps in this article if you need to manually import a landing page into Pardot instead of using the integration.
Export Your Landing Page from Knak
Open your landing page in Knak.
Click Actions.
Select Download.
Click Download HTML for Pardot.
Copy the Landing Page HTML
Open the exported HTML file in a new browser tab.
Right-click anywhere on the page.
Select View Page Source.
Select all HTML code.
Copy the code.
Create a Layout Template in Account Engagement (Pardot)
Create a layout template that will contain the HTML exported from Knak.
Log in to Account Engagement (Pardot).
Navigate to Content > Layout Templates.
Click + Add Layout Template.
Enter a template name.
Select a folder.
Select all existing code in the template editor.
Delete the existing code.
Paste the HTML code copied from Knak.
Click Save.
You will select your content layout in a later step after creating the layout template.
Create a Landing Page in Account Engagement (Pardot)
After creating the layout template, create your landing page and apply the template.
Navigate to Content > Landing Pages.
Click + Add Landing Page.
Enter a landing page name.
Select a campaign.
Configure any additional settings as needed.
Click Next.
Select the form you want to use.
Open the Content Layout tab.
Select the layout template you created.
Continue through the remaining setup steps.
Review the landing page preview.
Click Save.
Your Knak landing page now appears in Account Engagement (Pardot). Your selected form is included automatically if applicable.
