Access the Bulk Invite Tool
Go to the Admin section.
Click Company > Users.
Select Invite Multiple Users in the top-right corner.
If you do not see this option, contact the Knak Support team to enable it for your account.
Download and Fill Out the Template
Click Download CSV template.
Open the file in a spreadsheet program.
Fill out the required fields for each user. Optional fields can be left blank.
Below is a table of all the supported headings:
Column | Description | Data requirements |
First Name | The first name of the user | Required. Can't be blank |
Last Name | The last name of the user | Required. Can't be blank |
Title | The title name of the user | Optional |
The email of the user | Required. Can't be blank | |
City | The city name of the user | Optional |
Country | The country name of the user | Optional |
Department | The department of the user | Optional |
Brands | The name of the brand(s) that the user can access. For multiple brands, follow this format "brand 1 | brand 2 | brand 3" | Required. Can be blank. If blank the user would have access to all brands. |
Roles | The name of the role(s) associated with the user. For multiple brands, follow this format "role 1 | role 2 | role 3" | Required. Can't be blank |
Upload the Completed CSV
Save the file as a .csv.
Return to the Bulk Invite screen and click Upload CSV.
If there are errors, you’ll see a message with the issue. Fix and re-upload.
Confirm and Send Invites
If the CSV file is valid:
If you are importing SSO users, check the box beside the “import as users” feature. This ensures invitations will not be sent by email and these users will need to use SSO to login.
Click Submit to invite users.
Invitations will be sent to all valid users in the file.
