Overview
A color kit is a saved set of brand colors. Each brand can have more than one color kit. A kit can hold colors for text, backgrounds, buttons, and links.
Create a Color Kit
Go to Admin. Select Brands.
Click the Colors tab.
Click Create Color Kit.
Name your color kit.
Click the large + icon to add a color. Add as many colors as you need. Choose where each color can be used:
All
Text
Background: content and section backgrounds
Button
Link
Other: borders and dividers
Click the + icon next to Assign to Brand.
Choose a brand from the dropdown.
Manage a Color Kit
Click the three dots in the top-right corner of a color kit.
Choose to clone or delete the kit.
Use a Color Kit
After you assign a kit to a brand, you can use it in design mode.
Click any color swatch in the builder.
Pick a color from your color kit.
Switch to a Different Kit
Click the arrow beside the current kit name.
Choose a different kit from the dropdown.
Enable the Custom Color Picker
Turn on a role permission so users can pick any color in the editor, not just colors from a kit.
Go to Admin.
Click Roles.
Select a role, such as Email Creator.
Open Advanced Editor Options.
Turn on Select Custom Colors in Editor.
Click Save.
The Color Picker now shows in the editor when users with this role open an asset in Studio.
Note: If this role permission is not enabled, you can only select colors from pre-made brand color kits.
