How to Enable Knak AI
Only Admins can enable AI tools.
Go to Admin → Settings → AI Features.
Toggle Knak AI to on.
Enable specific tools:
Brand Voice for AI Assistants
Alt-Text Suggestions for images in the Editor
Import HTML files and convert them to Knak emails
Generate email assets from the Studio
Generate text content in the Editor
Subject Lines and Preview Text Assistant for emails
AI Asset Generation Permissions
Knak AI must be enabled for your account before you can use AI features. Your role permissions also determine how you can generate email assets.
If your role limits you to approved themes or modules, those limits also apply to AI-generated emails.
Admins can optionally control which users can Create an Email using AI with an additional role permission.
Contact Knak Support or your Customer Success Manager to enable this additional permission for your account.

AI Text Generation
Use AI to write, refine, or rewrite your content directly in Knak’s editor.

AI Brand Voice
Ensure all AI-generated content reflects your brand's personality and tone.
Set Up:
Go to the Brand Settings page.
Click Add a Brand Voice.
Choose 4–7 attributes that define your brand.
Set up to 50 Brand Voice Rules.
Click Create Brand Voice.
Click Preview Brand Voice to see a sample.

Import HTML Emails With AI
Use Knak AI to convert an existing Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) email into an editable Knak email.
Import an HTML Email
Open the campaign where you want to add your email.
Click Create → Create Email from HTML.
Upload your
.htmlfile.Click Import HTML.
Wait for the import to finish.
💡 Note: The import may not recreate your original email exactly. Some updates may be required after conversion.

Generate Emails With AI
Use Knak AI to generate a complete email from a prompt. Add campaign details, supporting content, images, or design preferences to guide the result.
Generate an Email
Open the Studio and start an AI-generated email.
Enter a prompt describing the email you want to create.
Add supporting content or images as needed.
Choose your design.
Click Submit.
Knak AI generates an editable email based on your inputs. You’ll receive a notification when your email is ready.
💡 Tip: Include details about your campaign, audience, and key message in your prompt to give Knak AI more context.

AI Alt Text Suggestions
Add alt text to images quickly with AI suggestions.
Open an image’s settings.
Click Knak AI Suggestions.
Choose a result, edit it, or write your own.
📝 Tip: Set your asset language before using AI to get suggestions in the correct language.
Subject Line & Preview Text AI Assistant
Use this when your email content is mostly complete.
How It Works:
Generates subject line and preview text based on your email
Customize tone, length, or audience
Mix and match suggestions
💡 You can also prompt the AI with intended content, even if the email is empty.
