Knak Performance Insights and Customer Consent

Disable the Knak Tracking Pixel on a per email basis to help support consent requirements for recipients in parts of the EU.

Overview

Knak Performance Insights uses a tracking pixel to help track email opens.

The Knak tracking pixel is a small, invisible image added to an email. When a recipient opens the email, their email client may load the pixel. This helps record an open event.

With upcoming ePrivacy changes in France and Italy on consent for tracking pixels, Knak gives you the option to disable the tracking pixel on a per email basis.

Use this setting during sync to remove the Knak Tracking Pixel for recipients in:

  • France

  • Italy

  • Any additional countries impacted by the ePrivacy changes
