In the video below our Senior Implementation Manager Vince Boyer demonstrates how we recommend setting up your content library (modules and themes) in Knak in just 4 easy steps!

Just to recap, the 4 steps outlined in the video are:

1 | Build out your desired modules and all of their components as one asset!

  • This will make sure all of the individual pieces properly fit together and have a consistent look and feel. Think padding, horizontal spacing, etc.

  • Make sure to review your assets in both desktop and mobile to make sure they look good across all devices

2 | Save your content as individual modules

  • We strongly recommend using a clear naming convention to help your users find the content that they need

  • Remember that you can also leverage categories for additional search-ability

3 | Apply build restrictions to your modules (if needed)

  • Restrictions can be applied on the admin side of Knak.

  • Restrictions will help define the builder experience for your end users.

4 | Build your final template with your finished modules and save the entire email as a theme.

  • Remember that your final theme should ideally be made of saved modules. This will make your mass changes and scalability much easier.
