Knak offers multiple license types. Each license controls what you can create, edit, and collaborate on. Use this guide to compare options and choose the right license for each user.
To upgrade or add licenses: Contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM)
License and Role Permissions
Some roles require a specific license.
View the required license beside each role permission
Assign the correct license before applying restricted roles
Avoid invalid role combinations
Important:
Assigning both Essential and Designer roles to the same user will require a Premium license
The system will automatically upgrade the user to a Premium license when both roles are applied

Essential: Text-only editing for emails and landing pages with Artificial Intelligence (AI) features
Premium: Create and edit emails or landing pages
Premium Plus: Create and edit both emails and landing pages

Premium License

Create and edit emails or landing pages
Choose one content type per user
Limitations:
Cannot edit both emails and landing pages
