About Dynamic Approvals
Dynamic approvals let you create a custom approval workflow during the review process. You can add reviewers as needed. You can also create multiple approval stages.
Use dynamic approvals when:
You do not have a predefined review group
You need temporary reviewers
You need a custom approval flow for a specific asset
How to Send Dynamic Approvals
Step 1: Open the Review Window
Open your Email or Landing Page.
Click Actions.
Select Send for Review.
Step 2: Add a Reviewer
In the review popup, click Add Reviewer.
Step 3: Build Your Approval Workflow
Add the approval stages you need.
Add reviewers to each stage.
Arrange the stages in the correct review order.
You can create as many stages as needed for your workflow.
Step 4: Configure Stage Approval Rules
After adding multiple reviewers to a stage, you can choose how approvals work.
Require Everyone to Approve
Keep Everyone in stage must approve enabled.
All reviewers in that stage must approve before the workflow continues.
Require Only One Approval
Disable Everyone in stage must approve.
Only one reviewer in the stage needs to approve before the workflow continues.
Step 5: Send the Approval Request
Click Send to start the approval process.
Knak sends approval emails to the selected reviewers.
Additional Notes
Dynamic approvals are available for Emails and Landing Pages.
Approval stages run in sequence.
Reviewers receive email notifications automatically.
